A routine visit starts with a professional cleaning: plaque and tartar removed from along the gumline and between teeth, the buildup a toothbrush alone cannot reach.
From there, your doctor checks your teeth, gums, and bite for anything that needs attention, reviewing radiographs with you when they help tell the full story.
Anything that comes up gets explained in plain language, with your options and the reasoning behind them, before anything moves forward.

Regular cleanings and exams are the easiest way to keep a minor issue from becoming a bigger, more involved one. We keep our schedule open on purpose, so routine visits do not feel rushed.
