A team effort

Every visit is a team effort.

Your hygienist walks you back, explains everything as it happens, and introduces you to your doctor, who starts by asking how you feel, not what hurts. We keep our schedule open on purpose, so there's less waiting and more time with your team.

Our doctors

The two dentists leading your care

Both doctors are ADA members and members of the Elevation Association, and both attend national continuing education every year, at Yankee Dental in Boston, the Chicago Midwinter Meeting, and the Hinman Dental Meeting in Atlanta.

Dr. Laighton Jones, DMD

Owner

Dr. Jones, a native of Billings, attended Alkali Creek Elementary School, Castle Rock Middle School, and graduated from Skyview High School in 1995. He then spent two years serving the people of Japan as a missionary for his church. Upon his return he met his bride, Katie (also a Billings native). Dr. Jones continued his education at Ricks College and BYU before venturing to dental school at Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He quickly became a die-hard fan of the Cleveland Indians as well as the Cavaliers and Browns and remains a fan today.

Dr. Sam Schreiner, DMD

Dentist

Dr. Schreiner was born and raised in Utah, spending the majority of his childhood in Springville. After graduating high school he did two years of missionary service in Argentina. After returning from his mission he earned his bachelor's degree in Public Health at BYU before attending dental school at Midwestern University in Arizona where he received a top tier clinical education in all aspects of dentistry ranging from basic restorative work to crown and bridge to implant dentistry. Dr Schreiner places an emphasis on continuing education and works hard to keep up to date on the most recent developments in dental technology in order to best serve our patients.

Beyond our two doctors, a team of five keeps Willow Ridge running the way it always has: a front desk that answers by name, hygienists who walk you back and explain everything as it happens, and a staff that treats patients as people to be known across years and generations.

We're independently owned, not a DSO, so the people who greet you are the same people who'll remember you next time.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Roxann joined the Willow Ridge Dental Care team in 2019. She has a relaxing and calming demeanor that immediately puts her patients at ease. Roxi is thorough, but has a gentle touch and always takes the time to listen and educate her patients about their dental needs. Roxann graduated from both the University of Wyoming and Sheridan College with an Associate of Applied Science in Biology as well as her Bachelor in Dental Hygiene in 2003.

Paige graduated from Dawson Community College in 2007 with an Associates of Science degree and in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science in Dental Hygiene. She grew up in Glendive, MT. Paige enjoys getting to know her patients and educating them in their dental health.

Janie joined the Willow Ridge Dental Care team in 2004 and enjoys working beside Dr. Jones assisting with patients of all ages. She completed all the requirements to become a Certified Dental Assistant in 2016, and takes pride in helping her patients feel at ease.

Brittney joined Willow Ridge Dental Care in 2015. She attended the Billings Academy of Dental Assisting and has been dental assisting since 2007, completing the requirements to become a Certified Dental Assistant in 2016. She takes pride in making our patients feel comfortable during their visit.

Laurie, Office Manager

Laurie

Office Manager

Laurie handles all the billing and financial aspects of the practice as well as assisting patients with their treatment needs. With her extensive knowledge of dental financing and insurance, she is a valuable asset to patients who have questions about their treatment plans and coverage. Laurie has been part of the WRDC team since 2009 and is a Fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Managers.
